What life lesson can we learn from the life-cycle of a Butterfly?
It’s Inspirational Monday at Your Inner You. And here is the tip for the week:
There is a season for everything under the sun and the moon. Learn to discern your season and move with it. Appreciate those around you and value them. Be in gratitude at all times, especially when it feels like there is nothing to be grateful for.
“Just like a butterfly goes from an EGG to a LARVA to PUPA and then ADULT, we have our own cycle too. QUICKLY DISCERN IT in TOTAL SUBMISSION.”
Until Next Time,

“Are you a Warrior? Then You Never Give Up!”
Have you ever woken up and felt like a ton of bricks weighing on your chest? Perhaps, you are in a season now where it just seems like all your effort are amounting to nothing and you feel completely overwhelmed and you sometimes wished you could just lay in bed and not get up, hoping your worries will go away with your catatonic self~ Well, NEVER GIVE UP was the phrase at the Selma Walk this past week. And thanks to my Southern Warrior Sister~ Maxine Donaldson Holt who wrote a piece on her personal experience walking across the bridge, we are able to feel the spirit of that day.
“NEVER GIVE UP!” What a simple phrase yet powerful in nature if we allow it to soak into our being. Hello family, IT IS WARRIOR WEDNESDAY and this is your sister welcoming you to yet another blog episode.
I spent few minutes just reading and re-reading the words of my Southern warrior sister, Maxine and I was inspired to pay it all forward with this piece. This picture is certainly more than any preacher could have said. If you are in a situation right now where many things are not adding up for you…

Hello Family, It is Arise and Shine Tuesday. Do you know how important it is these days to ensure that you are successfully happy and content in the path you have chosen as a career ? Here is some wisdom nugget from my wisdom vault this morning:
Living and breathing our dreams and vision demand that we are equally ready to make whatever changes necessary in our lives, starting inwardly and our environment to ensure successful delivery of what we so desperately desire. Just dreaming your visions with no action on your part will continually equal frustration.

What are the 7 Undeniably Powerful Habits of an Authentic Winner?
So many times, we have heard the phrases “Be Authentic”, “Be Yourself”, “Just Be You”, “Just Do You”, or perhaps you have had “Just Do It”. Frankly, I am not too sure many people take it seriously any longer. Being Authentic has almost become a fad word that people talk about but not necessarily adhering to.

It’s Warrior Wednesday: What are the 7 Attributes of “Warriors “which Make them a “Slam Dunk” Success?
source: adjunct professor
A “Warrior” Knows when to go to war and when to be still for the battle to be won! Do You?
I woke up this morning with the word “Warrior” on my mind and try to imagine what the word really means. A warrior is “a brave or experienced soldier or fighter.” When you go by this definition, then you know naturally that there will be some wars/battles which you will engage in.
But being a “warrior” does not entail being in a battle alone. On the other hand, there are many times we desperately want to avoid confrontations and battles all for the sake of peace and harmony. This may be at our own peril! As there are just some battles we must fight and win if we must move to our next success level.
“We will not win a battle, neither will be succeed at anything if we are passive aggressive in our relationships, or adopt a passive aggressive pose when we choose to do things our own way and not pay attention to all the hurdles life is placing in our path.”
A True Warrior understands that Passive Aggressiveness is a Poison, which if allowed to fester in his or her life will cause great frustration, self pity-party, and so much pain!

It is Monday morning or Tuesday or Wednesday and your alarm clock ticktock its way into your dreamland…time to get up and be ready for work. Yet, you lay in that bed looking at the clock, wishing that the time would just turn back because the truth be told, you really do not want to go to that place of work.
Welcome aboard the boredom ship! You are not alone!
“Lack of direction, not lack of time, is the problem. We all have
twenty-four hour days. ? Zig Ziglar
If you hate your job, you are not alone! In 2013, Forbes released results of employee polls, which they did worldwide. According to the Gallup reports released that year, there are twice as many actively disengaged workers in the world as there are engaged workers who love their jobs. When they polled 25 million employees in 189 in different countries, 13 % of the workers feel engaged by their jobs! They defined feeling engage as having a sense of passion for their work, a deep connection to their employer, and as such spend their days driving innovation to move the company forward. 63% are not engaged, meaning they are unhappy but not drastically so. They regarded themselves as checked out and sleep walk through their days, and putting little energy into their work. In addition, 87% of workers worldwide who are emotionally disconnected from their workplaces are less likely to be productive (Forbes.com).
Are you part of the statistics who hate their job? Then check this out.
